1. Understand STAGES User Roles & Permissions

STAGES provides flexible user role management designed for collaborative construction project environments. Typical roles include:

  • Owner/Admin: Full access, project creation, role assignment
  • Manager/Coordinator: Project editing, note & issue management
  • Viewer/Stakeholder: Read-only access, view comments, download reports

2. Create an Organization in STAGES

  • Login to your STAGES account.
  • Navigate to the “Organization” tab.
  • Click “Create Organization”.
  • Assign a name, description, and default settings for your organization.

3. Set Up a New Project

  • Open the “Projects” section within your Organization.
  • Click “Create Project”.
  • Define project name, description, and upload associated scans (Matterport, BIM, CAD).
  • Assign your project to a specific organization or team.

4. Invite Users & Assign Roles

  • Within the Project Dashboard, select “Manage Users”.
  • Enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
